What AIMS is

AIMS is a web and mobile application for managing Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRAs) on hospital construction, renovation and maintenance projects. It supports the ASHE ICRA 2.0 matrix and every class of precautions, including Class V. Infection prevention, facilities, project managers and contractors work from one shared dashboard, each with their own login.

AIMS runs on its own. It doesn't require any other Agilis module, and it doesn't replace or change your work order system.

How AIMS works

1. Request. The project manager or contractor fills out a short form on a phone, tablet or computer: project, location, dates, type of construction activity and the patient risk group in the area.
2. Generate. AIMS determines the class of precautions from your hospital's own ICRA matrix and produces the completed ICRA. No manual lookup or retyping.
3. Approve. The ICRA routes to infection prevention, who review it and sign off digitally from any device. A signed PDF goes on the record.
4. Manage. Facilities, project managers, infection prevention and contractors track the project on one shared dashboard. Daily barrier checks are logged with photos, and a failed check sends an email alert to the people who need to act.
5. Close. Completed ICRAs stay on file and searchable, so any project's record is available in seconds.
